What you can expect?
The Everglades is a wild and untamed wilderness.  Like most swamps, its wet, muddy, hot, full of bugs, poisonwoods, tripping hazards, occasional snakes and large animals.

What should I wear?

Long pants, long sleeves, shoes or boots that have an aggressive tread.

What should I bring?

Food, drink, energy bars, sunblock, insect repellant, a change of clothes, backpack, camera, binoculars.  Backpacks and snake protection equipment are available for rent on a first come first serve basis.

How do I get there?
We'll provide a map to meet us at the trailhead.

All participants must be physically fit, sign a waiver of liability, and be properly prepared to meet the challenges for the type of excursion.  We reserve the right to refuse anyone who does not meet our requirements.  Your safety is important.
